How to synthesize (make) DMT?

I know there are various factors in tryptophan and samE (sp?) that seem as though one could produce DMT but i am unsure and was wondering if anyone had any ways of making it or where some could be acquired. I am mostly looking for the first way (or an alternative method of making it)
