Would the Tea Party have more popular support if they were not just a movement against the first black prez?

The "Tea Party" is different things to different people. While the Tea Party may be a respectable movement in some areas of the United States, it is a forum for racism and bigotry in others. It will not be possible to sustain until there is unity and a consensus on who may call themselves Tea Party and they have established parameters for acceptable civil behavior. For this reason, I avoid it like the plague.
