Is the anonymity of the internet going to promote cowardice in real life?

I think you may be on to something. We can answer questions hiding behind these little avatars and be completely obnoxious or whatever. The anonymity can promote a lack of responsibility for one's actions, which I would definitely see as a form of cowardice. Besides, is anyone really afraid of the "report abuse" thing. There's a ton of other sites they can go to and be the same obnoxious moron.
