Brother wants to work at my place?

my brother wants to work at the same place as me but im not sure if its really a good idea because he's really competitive about everything. Plus the worst part is that my dad is encouraging him to get the job and he really thinks its a good idea and is all excited about it and im getting a bit annoyed and disillusioned. im also worried that if he does get the job and he gets into trouble that people will suddenly ociate that with me and then it will be really awkward. Im sure that if he does get the job i will have to find a way to quit.
