Is the American and Canadian school system wrong in placing clothing restrictions on youths?

They're not wrong at all. Bad or weird clothing causes distractions among students and hinders the teachers job and learning. I once attended a school where I had to wear a uniform and I liked it. I didn't have to worry about what to wear every day and I always looked sharp.
