Did i do the right thing?

Take it from a guy. I have known friends like that and have known guys like that and I have heard guys say these lines before hun. Once you break that trust it is hard to get it back. The 3 biggest things in a relationship are communication and trust, and the willingness to work things out. Now trust is the biggest one to try and get back. It is more than likely he will do it again. If he has done this before than I would say forget him because he will always do it. Now if this is his first time he has done it. Give him a little slack, but not much. He has to prove to you that he means it. It is all in what he says and does. I don't think his ex will reply. She is probably afraid of you or doesn't want to get into a argument with you. Let me know how things go.
