For insurance cost repairs and parts, which is better , the Honda Fit , Subaru Legacy Wagon or Toyota Matrix?

The Subaru will have the best winter weather traction and will be the safest in an accident. All Subaru models have a 5 star rating. The parts are really about the same price when you compare them part for part. The difference will be the service intervals and and you have to consider the the All Wheel Drive on the Subaru will have more parts on it which could require more repairs down the road. It all comes down to how much you value your safety. I have driven Subarus and Hondas for years and like them both. I prefer the Subaru because of the safety and handling in the bad weather. The Toyota would be my third choice due to the build quality not being as good as the other two. None of the three are known for having problems.
