What did he have to do with this?

I turned on Politically Incorrect (I missed the first few minutes) and Bill Maher was making a joke about the recent situation of Hillary Clinton lying about the conditions in Bosnia when she visited. I know he is a comedian and making jokes is what he does but he kept mentioning Sinbad saying Sinbad made it know that she was lying. What did he have to do with that situation with Hillary Clinton? Was he(Sinbad) there with her in Bosnia? Or did I just miss some part of the joke that would answer my question?
