An Intimate connection with our God?

Jesus is with us all at all times but what if we don't accept him? He desires to be uniquely intimate on a personal level with us all and he cannot do that with anyone else the way he would do it with you because each and every person is different and not one is alike. So he would be missing out on you and your character if you don't choose him? Why?
